  6. I also updated the standards on our website with the standards from your interviewing a family member lesson.

This is my plan for tomorrow:
    - Finish the reading reflections and comments/feedback
    - Finish my digital story.
    - Work on the website.

I'm planning on getting most of my pages done tomorrow. If I do not finish them by Sunday night, I will finish them up Monday morning.

  8. Here are some great websites that I found:

    Website #1: http://edsitement.neh.gov/lesson-plan/listening-history#sect-introduction
Description: This website is a great resource for teachers. It contains a lesson plan on conducting an oral interview with family members. (This would be a great website to put on your page, Stephanie).

    Website #2: http://www.uniqueteachingresources.com/Giving-Tree-Lesson-Plans.html
Description: This website provides a fun, exciting way for students to study their family history. This resource provides teachers with an excellent lesson plan on creating a family tree.

    Website #3: http://www.scholastic.com/teachers/collection/exploring-family-heritage
Description: This website is a great resource for teachers to use when planning lesson plans on studying one's heritage. It contains a variety of lesson plans including: conducting an interview with a family member, writing immigration stories, etc. display their results in the form of timelines, bar graphs, and maps. The students will also listen and discuss read-aloud books! This is definitely a website for teachers to check out!

  9. I added them to the master list of "useful links." I will continue to look tomorrow for more websites we can incorporate into our website.

  10. Hey! I just read this: "Remember -- no Resource Page or no list of resources or helpful web sites on the pages. All web sites that are linked should be connected through an area on the page where it fits. Please review the examples."

So it looks like we cannot have an "additional resource" page. We need to incorporate those links into our pages (which shouldn't be a problem).
